Wind Power
Generate free electricity from the wind
Reduce your carbon footprint
Sell excess electricity back to the grid
Braemac Energy is proud to provide wind power. Wind is a form of solar energy originating from the uneven heating of the atmosphere by the sun, the irregularities of the earth’s surface, and rotation of the earth. This wind flow, or motion energy, when ‘harvested’ by modern wind turbines, can be used to generate electricity. The more wind available, the faster the wind turbine spins and the more electricity generated.
Wind turbines are classified by the Federal Government as Small Generating Units and attract the Solar Credits Scheme Rebate. Follow this link www.climatechange.gov.au for more information. As with solar installations, this rebate will minimize your initial installation cost.
