Goldfields SolarHub 1000 Rooftops Project

Braemac Energy is proud to be taking part in the Goldfields Solar Hub project, a joint initiative of the Bendigo Sustainability Group (BSG) and Mount Alexander Sustainability Group (MASG), as part of the Victorian Government’s Solar Hubs program, designed to provide quality solar energy at affordable prices.

A fundamental purpose of this project is to provide the links between the cost benefits to individuals in installing the systems and the collective contribution that can be made to the region and to Victoria in terms of renewable energy generation. The Goldfields SolarHub project aims to create a 2 MW capacity Solar Hub, which is equivalent to 23% of the State Government’s Solar Hubs target.

In March we were thrilled to win a competitive tender for the Goldfield SolarHub project; a joint initiative between the BSG and the MASG. This initiative aims to have 1000 photovoltaic systems installed on rooftops in the Bendigo and Mount Alexander region. For this initiative we are working closely with our partners, AUO and EnaSolar, to provide the highest quality solar panels and solar inverters.
