Trust Braemac Energy to take care of your community and its environment

The environment is a community concern as a whole, which is why Braemac Energy is dedicated to raising awareness by educating communities about the benefits of switching to solar energy.  We have helped community groups, councils and schools install affordable solar systems through our community program, proudly watching them reduce their carbon footprints through the use of renewable energy.

National Solar Schools Program

The National Solar Schools Program is helping Australian schools take practical action to tackle climate change by offering grants of up to $50 000 (GST exclusive) to install solar power systems, rainwater tanks and a range of renewable energy and energy efficiency measures.

Schools will be able to improve their energy and water efficiency as well as reduce their ongoing energy costs.  In particular, for schools with a mains power supply, surplus electricity generated by solar power systems on weekends and during school holidays may be able to be sold back to the electricity grid for extra electricity and greenhouse savings.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Braemac Energy for your efforts in the supply and installation of our 5.25kw PV solar system. It is one of the major cornerstones of our College’s Sustainability program. Although we were put under great pressure by the State Government to have our system in place and operational in record time for their Solar in Schools launch, the team at Braemac produced the goods. We have great monitoring in place now and our students are able to access what Bentleigh Secondary College is generating at any time from anywhere using a computer with internet access. The system not only looks good but generates a great deal of interest from visitors to the College and is great for promoting our sustainable credentials, as well as making a real difference. Thanks again for all your efforts in ensuring the success of this project. I would be happy to speak of our experiences to organizations who are considering using Braemac as their solar installer”.
